3) Oral cavity and pregnancy: There is a link between premature birth and gum disease. Recent studies showed that 18 out of hundred premature delivery found in women with gum disease. Hormone released during pregnancy led worsen plaque and also led to craving for more sugary and starchy food.
4) Oral cavity and lung disease: Lung disease like pneumonia and other pulmonary conditions get worsen in patients with gum diseases as it increases bacterial growth.
